Nene is a sentient robot-doll, bought by Ichīro’s brother because he had no friends.
I got Kokone for Christmas from honooko (smoltailordolls). We saw her head for sale at iDoll ## and I kept saying, “no, I want a Mini Dollfie Dream so she can share clothes with Ichii” but I also kept going back to look at this adorable artist repaint. honooko bought her for me as a Christmas gift.
I always wanted to get a tan doll with pink eyes and white hair, so that’s the design I went for with Nene. I planned for her to be a kawaii girl but she turned out to be more of a tomboy (and sometimes she shares Ichii’s clothes anyway).
Kokone is named after mangaka Kazuya Minekura (Saiyuki, etc). She’s a robot but she shares her name with her fairy sisters, Kiki and Susu (smoltailordolls).
