Nana is a robot-doll who belongs to Kohaku. Since the incident that caused Kohaku to transfer to Hanajaima International School, she is always nervous. (If she was human, she’d probably be diagnosed with an anxiety disorder.)
Nanami was an impulse purchase in May 2024. I liked the idea of blind box BJDs/MJDs but I’d never seen one I really connected with. I liked that the Maytree dolls have headcaps so they can wear real wigs. (I’m not into the plastic hair.) I split a set of three secondhand Maytree dolls with hokooko and Mari. (I saw Maytree dolls for sale at Dollce and didn’t know that DBS is a recaster when I purchased Nana, Miya (smoltailordolls), and Seina (maritea.doll) on Mercari.)
Nanami is named after Nanase Ohkawa of CLAMP (TSUBASA: RESERvoir CHRoNiCLE, Tokyo Babylon, Wish, etc.)
